Have had a long spell at different educational establishments: Mathematical Physics at Edinburgh, Part Three at Cambridge and finally a PhD at Cardiff. I started my parallel programming with a rather flaky nCUBE1 with a temperamental interface to a SUN workstation acting as an external front end in order develop code to solve general gravitational N-body astrophysical problems. Moved on to using a nCUBE2 which provided a much more satisfactory environment and stability and since then have also ported the resulting code to an iPSC/860, a Transtech Paramid and the T3D here at Edinburgh. My aim now is to facilitate the usage of parallel machines to those who are just starting parallel programming.
