Having grown up in Warwickshire I moved to Edinburgh to study Mathematical Physics, I then completed the EPCC MSc in High-End Computing as a part-time student while studying for a PhD on “Molecular Dynamics simulations of aqueous glutamate and the gly-pro-glu (GPE) tripeptide”. I started work at EPCC in April 2011 having decided that I could not leave Edinburgh and working with supercomputers might just be the best job in the world!
My work in EPCC focuses on classical and quantum mechanical Molecular Dynamics codes. I currently work on the Nu-FuSE project which is an international collaboration focusing on computer simulations of fusion reactors and their components. For more information see:
