I graduated in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from the University in Edinburgh in 1992. After graduating I spent five years working on medical imaging research projects. I moved on to work as a software engineer in industry for a company specialising in seismic navigation systems.
I started at the EPCC in March 2003 and am working as a software architect on Grid related projects.
