I started working here at EPCC in February 2011 having previously worked in the research lab at Agilent in South Queensferry. I completed my PhD in “Network Tomography”in 2010 at the University of Edinburgh. Before that I completed my undergraduate (MEng) degree in Electronics, also in Edinburgh. I’m originally from Thurso in Caithness and try my best to return there when I can.
I work in the applications group at EPCC and am currently working on Data Intensive Research (DIR), mostly aiming to enable users to make use a new machine architecture, and as part of the Numerical Algorithms and Intelligent Systems project.
