I am originally from a beautiful city of Torun in Poland. That is where I graduated in 2004 from Nicolaus Copernicus University with a BSc in Technical Physics and IT. Same year, I moved to Edinburgh in Scotland. In 2005, I graduated from Napier University with a BSc Hons in Computing. Then, I continued my studies at EPCC, University of Edinburgh. I graduated in 2006 and was awarded an MSc in High Performance Computing with Distinction.
I joined EPCC’s Software Development Group as a permanent staff in September 2006. I am now involved in the following projects:
- ADMIRE: Advanced Data Mining and Integration Research for Europe.
- QCDGrid: A core activity of UKQCD that aims to procure and jointly exploit computing facilities for lattice field theory calculations.
In the past I have worked on the following projects:
- MSc Dissertation: Porting, Profiling and Optimising an AMR Cosmology Simulation.
- OGSA-DAI: Middleware to assist with access and integration of data via the Grid (as a summer intern).
In my free time, I do sports like rock climbing, badminton and football. Unfortunately, foosball table is not very popular in Edinburgh, so I moved on to studying Spanish instead. Please feel free to visit my Home Page.
