I joined the EPCC in July 2006 as an Applications Consultant.
I’m originally from Luxembourg, however I moved to Germany to study Medical Informatics at the University of Heidelberg. After three years in Heidelberg, I moved to Edinburgh to complete a degree in Computing at Napier University in 2002. A strong interest in Artificial Intelligence applications and arts led to studies towards a PhD in AI & Music at the University of Edinburgh, using statistical models to learn and generate hierarchical musical structures.
In my free time I enjoy playing music (saxophone) and attending concerts/arts events.
