Francis Wray’s career in the scientific consultancy and computer business extends over 20 years. He has held senior positions in private and public companies and has substantial experience in the application of computer technology for competitive advantage.
In 1987 he represented VSEL Consortium Plc in the establishment of the UK’s National Robotics Research Centre, a £10 million joint collaboration of Government, Academe and manufacturing industry, and became a member of its Board of Directors in 1988. He has worked as a consultant to EPCC since 1993 and has had an active involvement in several major projects including Caledonia, Entice, Expansiv, Gridstart, NextGRID and FHPCA.
