For current fees please see the University Postgraduate Tuition Fees pages. Please note that, in addition to tuition fees, all students must pay an additional programme cost of £1,000.
There are separate scales of fees for students whose status is “home” (ie UK or European Union) and those whose status is “overseas”. For details please see the University Fee Status pages.

UK & EU Scholarships
Postgraduate Tuition Fee Loans (PTFL)
From session 2012-2013 the current Postgraduate Student Allowances Scheme (PSAS) will be replaced with a repayable student support model. Eligible postgraduate students can apply to SAAS for a “Postgraduate Tuition Fee Loan” (PTFL) to help with the cost of their fees (up to £3,400 for full-time students and up to £1,700 for part-time students).

School of Physics and Astronomy UK/EU Master’s Scholarships in High Performance Computing
The School of Physics and Astronomy offers up to two Master’s scholarships in High Performance Computing for the 2012-2013 academic session. Each scholarship covers Tuition Fees and Additional Programme Costs up to a maximum value of £6,750 and is tenable for one academic year.
UK/EU students who have been accepted for admission to the MSc in High Performance Computing are eligible to apply.
These scholarships are awarded competitively. Applicants must have, or expect to obtain, a UK first class or 2:1 Honours degree or its equivalent from outside the UK.

The closing date for applications is Monday 2 April 2012. Successful applicants will be notified by Friday 4 May 2012.

University of Edinburgh UK/EU Master’s Scholarships
Fifteen scholarships are available to UK and EU students already accepted to a full-time Master’s degree programmes in any subject offered by the University of Edinburgh under the UK/EU Master’s scholarships scheme.

Scholarships for Overseas Students
Edinburgh Global Master’s Scholarship Scheme
The University will be offering once again a number of International Master’s Scholarships under the Edinburgh Global Master’s Scholarship Scheme. Please visit www.ed.ac.uk/student-funding/masters for details.
This year the University of Edinburgh is increasing the number scholarships available and offering 15 with a value of £5,000 and a further 25 awards with a value of £3,000 each. The deadline for receipt of scholarship applications is 2 April 2012 and applicants should complete an online scholarship application in order to be considered for these awards.
