With the jaguar and jaguarpf systems at ORNL, there are a number of real HPC applications scaling to over 200,000 cores on these Cray platforms. This talk will discuss the key techniques for getting applications to scale to these very large core counts, with specific examples from applications at ORNL and HECToR. This talk will also introduce some of the scientific highlights derived from these extreme scaling applications.
