The BEinGRID project will be hosting 2 workshops at the joint ICSOC and ServiceWave 2009 conference in Stockholm.
The first workshop, titled “Common Capabilities for Service Oriented Infrastructures and Cloud Computing”, takes place on Monday 23rd November. It will deal with commercial applications of Service Oriented Infrastructures based on the fusion of Web Services and Grid Computing paradigms as a foundation for Service Oriented IT in the 21st century.
The second workshop, titled “Business Opportunities and Challenges for Grid and Cloud Computing” takes place on Tuesday 24th November. It will provide a consultancy oriented view of business opportunities and challenges for grid and cloud computing. It will focus on the latest market trends and the challenges that market players face when developing new solutions to emerging business opportunities. Special attention will be paid to the business models, product strategies, service commercialization, and legal safeguards.
