Fed4FIRE announces funding call for Future Internet experiments

10 October 2014

Experimentally driven research is a key factor for growing the European Internet industry and Europe has invested heavily in FIRE (Future Internet Research and Experimentation) facilities  to support such research. The Fed4FIRE federation framework enables experimenters to use  facilities from the different FIRE research communities seamlessly in a single experiment.

Proposals are invited for SME's that wish to carry out experiments that need the scale and features of the federation of test facilities under Fed4FIRE. The total available funding for this call is €100 000, and individual proposals can be up to €25,000. Full details of this call and the Fed4FIRE project can be found at www.fed4fire.eu.

Fed4FIRE has received funding from the European Union’s Seventh Programme for research, technological development and demonstration under grant agreement No 318389.
