Two projects in which EPCC has a major role have won awards announced by HPCWire, the on-line HPC news service, at the annual Supercomputing conference in Austin, Texas.
Today a consortium led by EPCC, the supercomputing centre at the University of Edinburgh, announces the successful start of the NEXTGenIO project. NEXTGenIO is an R&D project funded by the European Commission that will develop solutions to high performance computing’s (HPC) input/output (I/O) challenges.
