EPCC offers access to ARCHER, the UK National Supercomputer, through calls for proposals to the regular UoE Supercomputing Panel.

Closing date for proposals: 4pm, 14 April 2015.

Applicants can request significant amounts (>1,000 ARCHER kAU, equivalent to >500,000 CPUh) of computing resource over a maximum 1-year period. Applications to the UoE Supercomputing Call can be for research in any discipline. Applications from communities that are not traditional users of large amounts of high-performance computing (HPC) resource are particularly encouraged. EPCC provides expert support for all projects using ARCHER.

The aim of this call is to provide access to a national state-of-the-art high performance computing facility for proposals of high scientific quality from within the University of Edinburgh.
