Grid technologies are spreading from e-Science into e-Business. EPCC has been involved in a number of projects that use wide-area distributed Grid technologies to solve hard business problems.

The INWA project used existing Grid technologies to allow researchers to analyse commercial data located at sites in the UK, Australia and China. The project was funded by the UK Economic & Social Research Council (ESRC) under the pilot projects in e-Social Science Programme. - BEinGRID
