Dr Kevin Stratford

My interests are based around computational fluid dynamics and I have recently been closely involved with co-workers in the School of Physics in the development and implementation of novel lattice Boltzmann techniques for complex mixtures of fluids and particles. Before joining EPCC I worked in the Department of Meteorology (’upstairs’) for two and a half years, so also retain an interest in geophysical ocean/atmosphere modelling.
In my spare time, I play (after a fashion) football and cricket, and can often be found in the further-flung corners of Scotland on a bike. I hold the dubious honour of being the captain of the record-breaking(ly bad) EPCC squash team.
