Luna De Ferrari
I joined EPCC in 2020, to help with data science projects.
In the past, I held various postdoctoral research positions applying machine learning to biological problems at the University of St Andrews, in Chemistry, and at the University of Edinburgh, in the School of Informatics and the MRC Human Genetics Unit. I also taught statistics and R programming in the Psychology Department. As an independent consultant, I create predictive machine learning models for time series and natural language processing, in various industries.
I hold an MSc and PhD in computer science from the University of Edinburgh, and a BSc and MSc in Industrial Biotechnology from the University of Milan Bicocca.
In my free time, I strive to do absolutely nothing. Mostly outdoors.
