I obtained my PhD in Computational Chemistry at the University of Barcelona and I moved to Scotland as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant working on computational chemistry projects related to biological systems at the University of Dundee and the University of Edinburgh. My research focused on the study of protein dynamics and the design of new active compounds using computer aided drug design techniques. In order to carry out those projects, I became an expert user of HPC environments including Marenostrum and Minotauro (BSC), Eurora (CINECA) and ARCHER and Cirrus (EPCC).
I joined EPCC as an Applications Developer in Data Science within the Edinburgh International Data Facility (EIDF) project in 2019.
Outside work, I enjoy mountain biking and scuba diving (whenever I can). I also like to draw and paint using traditional and digital tools.
