EPCC will be exhibiting at this year’s Supercomputing in Engineering Show at the Derby Roundhouse on the 15th and 16th April. The show is run in parallel with the Engineering Simulation Show and attendance is free, so this is an ideal opportunity for you to come and talk to us about how we can help transform your simulation and modeling activities using High Performance Computing.

As well as exhibiting, EPCC will also be presenting a talk on Fortissimo, a ground-breaking FP7, Factories of the Future project led by EPCC. In the talk we will describe how Fortissimo addresses the challenges faced by manufacturing SMEs who want to use advanced simulation and modelling.

The goal of Fortissimo is to deliver improved SME competitiveness by providing easy and cost-effective access to advanced simulation services provisioned on an HPC cloud. And although Fortissimo is only half way through its planned three-year duration, it has already generated significant advantage for a number of SMEs. These successes will be discussed in detail during the presentation.

I look forward to seeing you there!
