ARCHER Impact Award 2015

ARCHER Impact Award will recognise and reward researchers working on ARCHER, as individuals or teams, whose work has had substantial impact on the economy and society. The awards will showcase the researchers, their work and the impact of the science that the UK National HPC facility, ARCHER, has enabled.

ARCHER Impact Award

The ARCHER service facilitates high quality science from a broad range of disciplines across EPSRC's and NERC's remits. The outcome is science that generates significant societal impact, improving health and overall quality of life in the UK and beyond. This science influences policy and impacts on the UK's economy.

This competition aims to recognise and reward researchers whose science has resulted in a significant social and/or economic impact.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for projects with some or all of:

  • Economic Impact
    Recognising research that has achieved exceptional economic benefit.
  • Societal Impact
    Recognising research that has achieved exceptional social, cultural, public policy or service, health, environmental or quality of life benefits.
  • Early Career Impact
    Recognising an early career researcher who has achieved exceptional economic and/or societal impact.
