About us

EPCC at the University of Edinburgh runs the ARCHER service, the UK’s primary academic research computer.

Through dedicated funding from the UK’s Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), we have a programme of public engagement activities designed to encourage young people to gain an understanding of High Performance Computing, Computational Science and Programming.

This website contains a series of resources and activities developed through this programme. Word searches, colouring sheets, a build your won supercomputing game - there are many resources freely available to help understand the world of supercomputing.
