HPC Short Courses
EPCC is a member of the High Performance Computing Short Courses consortium, a group of UK Universities and Research Institutes that was formed to ensure that appropriate high quality training in advanced aspects of high performance computing is available to researchers in the UK.
The consortium was established in 2010 in response to a call from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, and consists of 12 universities and one Research Council Laboratory.
The courses are provided at two levels:
Autumn Academy, held annually for people just starting a PhD
Advanced Short Courses, designed for those with significant experience of HPC, which are programmed over a 2-year rolling cycle.
EPCC's upcoming HPC-SC courses are listed on our Upcoming courses and events page. Attendance at these courses will usually incur a registraton fee, although bursaries may also be available.
