ARCHER (Advanced Research Computing High End Resource) is a new-generation Cray XC30 supercomputer which succeeded the HECToR service.
Access to ARCHER
The Accelerator usage model is based on pay-per use service and provides an excellent alternative to purchasing expensive HPC hardware. The service can be used to satisfy contingency and peak demand requirements.
Time on ARCHER is charged at 5p per core hour (exclusive of VAT). The minimum resource usage is 1 node, or 24 cores.
