High performance computing experts from industry and the University are to work together in a new centre of expertise.
The SHAPE programme offers European small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) individual support from a high-performance computing expert, effort on developing and enhancing their applications, and compute time on some of Europe’s most powerful computing systems.
The annual collaboration workshop between the University of Edinburgh and the University of Tsukuba, Japan, takes place this week.
The workshop, being held in Edinburgh on the 16th-17th June, brings together researchers from Tsukuba and Edinburgh to present and discuss the novel research in high-performance computing, computer science, physics, meteorology, and other subjects undertaken by scientists at both universities.
The workshop is open to all, so please come along and find out more about the ground-breaking research both institutes are involved in and how you can collaborate.
