Virtual Open Days
The Online Open Day is an online session that gives you the opportunity to talk to the course organisers and other prospective students. We will organise several online sessions throughout the year, so if you have any questions please come along to one of them.
The 2020 dates for virtual Open Days will be confirmed in due course.
If it is your first time using the Blackboard Collaborate then you are advised to read the information below. If you intend to attend please drop us an email.
For the online sessions we are using the Blackboard Collaborate, a web conferencing system featuring video, audio, slide sharing, chat, etc. You can use Collaborate from a desktop or laptop computer or from a tablet or smartphone.
To see whether you are able to connect to a Collaborate session try to join the Collaborate Configuration Test Room. You may find that Collaborate launches automatically and connects you to the session. If not, go to the University's How to get started page for more information on how to join.
You are strongly advised to follow the Session Preparation Checklist well in time before joining a live session in order to ensure you are able to participate fully. If you have any problems with Collaborate, please get in touch with us.
