About EPCC

Based at The University of Edinburgh, EPCC is one of Europe's foremost supercomputing centres.

EPCC's aim is to accelerate the effective exploitation of novel computing throughout industry, academia and commerce. This is achieved through a range of activities including researchtraining programmes, and commercial contract work.

The Centre provides access to novel computing expertise and houses an exceptional range of specialist  computing facilities: from enterprise-level servers to world-class high performance computers. EPCC runs ARCHER, the UK's largest supercomputing facility and other UK national supercomputing services. EPCC's 75 staff have a wealth of experience in all aspects of computer science, HPC, parallel computing and data science.
