ACE: Architecture Comparison Exercise
The Architecture Comparison Exercise (ACE) is a series of technical projects aimed at providing quantitative information on the factors affecting the performance of science and engineering application codes in different High Performance Computing (HPC) architectures.
ACE was initiated to help develop a joint technology and applications roadmap for HPC. This roadmap was developed by two HPC technical panels – the Applications Panel (AP) and the Technology Watch Panel (TWP).
