ARCHER Image & Video Competition 2017: Results!

Thank you to everyone who submitted images and videos to this year's competition. The outstanding range of entries made judging a most enjoyable experience with so many great demonstrations of the important work being done using ARCHER.

We are delighted to announce the winners:

Winning Image: Xiaojue Zhu, Physics of Fluids Group, University of Twente for the image "Thermal plumes in thermally driven turbulence".
Winning Early Career Entry: Panagiotis Tsoutsanis, Cranfield University, SATM with their video "Supersonic Kelvin-Helmholtz instability simulation".
Winning Video and Overall Winner: Dmitry Aleynik and Sam Jones, Scottish Association for Marine Science, Physics Department, for their video "West Scotland Coastal Ocean Modelling System (WeStCOMS) - 3D currents animation".
