ARCHER2 Image and Video Competition 2023

The ARCHER2 UK National Supercomputing Service invites all its users to share their images and videos on the theme of “ARCHER2 Enabling Research”.

This annual competition promotes the contribution of the ARCHER and ARCHER2 supercomputing services to UK research excellence. Full details are available on the ARCHER2 website.

Submission deadline: 1 September 2023.

ARCHER2

ARCHER2 is an advanced computing resource for UK researchers provided by UKRI, EPCC, the University of Edinburgh and Cray, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company. It is hosted and operated by EPCC, and housed at the Advanced Computing Facility near Edinburgh. ARCHER2 is an HPE Cray EX supercomputing system with an estimated peak performance of 28 Pflop/s. This performance is utilised by academics from across the UK and beyond to perform world-class science, with wide ranging benefits to society and the economy. The service has over 2700 active user accounts and regularly sits at around 85-90% utilisation.
