EPCC at Edinburgh Doors Open Days 2023

This year Edinburgh’s Doors Open Days will take place on Saturday 23rd September and Sunday 24th September 2023, and EPCC staff will be waiting to welcome you at two locations over the weekend!
Saturday 23rd September
11:00 – 17:00, Playfair Library, Old College, South Bridge
Mario Antonioletti and Lorna Smith will host family-friendly activities including Wee Archie, our Raspberry Pi miniature supercomputer, and the legendary ball sorting challenge. Come along and learn a little bit about what makes a supercomputer super!
Sunday 24th September
10:00–14:00, Bayes Centre, Potterrow
Oliver Brown and Ben Morse will also be showing off Wee Archie, and chatting about HPC, data science, EPCC, and what it does – or at least some of it! They will be in the Atrium of the Bayes Centre, which will be open to all, but if you’d also like to take a guided tour of the Bayes Centre with Bayes Centre staff, you’ll need to book tickets.
