EPCC MSc students' careers fair

This month we hosted a careers fair for our MSc students, introducing them to a number of prestigious potential employers from a variety of industries.
We were delighted to welcome industry representatives to the EPCC Careers Fair, including visitors from NVIDIA, ARM, AMD, the Met Office, Alces Flight, Synopsis and Apine F1.
The morning of the event was dedicated to discussions between EPCC staff and the companies, where we explored their requirements for postgraduate skills in high performance computing to ensure our curriculum aligns to business needs and so maximises our graduates' employment success.
In the afternoon each company gave a presentation to our students, followed by an opportunity to meet them during a networking session.
We were very pleased with the industry turnout for this fair, and that participants on both sides found it very useful. We hope to organise similar events in future.
