HPC-Europa EC-funded research visits: apply now!

2 February 2018

The programme's Third Call for applicants is now open. It will close on Wednesday 28th February 2018.

The interdisciplinary HPC-Europa programme, which provides access to some of Europe’s top HPC facilities, is now running again. The programme pays travel and living costs for short collaborative research visits to a scientific host in another country. Applications can be submitted at any time, with four closing dates per year.

Researchers based in the UK can benefit from the programme in two ways:

• Visiting a research group in one of the participating countries (Finland, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain or Sweden)

• Hosting a visiting researcher from any EU country or Associated State.

One of the objectives of the HPC-Europa3 project is the extension of the geographic coverage of the Transnational Access programme. In this context, researchers from the Baltic and South East European countries (including Western Balkans and Eastern Partnership countries) are particularly encouraged to apply. Moreover, the Regional Access sub-programme provides a new opportunity for those researchers from these countries who have less experience in HPC.
