Dr André Vieira

I joined EPCC in June 2026. My background is in civil engineering with a MSc and PhD in structural engineering, and part of my research path relied on HPC services. During my career, I assumed roles across academia and industry moving from technical to managerial positions. Here, on EPCC, I am acting as a Collaboration Manager for the UK AI Factory Antenna fostering strategic partnerships and collaborative initiatives that strengthen the UK's AI innovation ecosystem. The focus is to accelerate the adoption and impact of artificial intelligence and high-performance computing in industry, public sector organizations, and academia.
