Dr Santiago Paredes Sáenz

I joined EPCC in April 2026 after having worked in experimental particle physics research for around ten years at the ATLAS and CMS experiments at CERN. During this time, I analysed Large Hadron Collider data to study the Higgs boson (as well as new physics hypotheses involving it), the experiment’s data acquisition system, and tau leptons, among other topics.
