I joined EPCC in 2018 and work on a variety of projects, often health-related. My focus is on software engineering, in particular related to web applications and infrastructure automation. I'm also involved in teaching and organising courses for our MSc programmes.
I graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2007 with a BSc in Software Engineering, and then worked for a couple of commercial organisations, before returning to Strathclyde to undertake a PhD. While there I carried out studies related to software bugs and their lifecycle: their introduction, discovery and eventual fix. Prior to joining EPCC, I worked within the University for EDINA, working on projects related to both bibliographic services and learning/teaching applications.
In my spare time I like listening to music, board & video gaming and occasionally getting out walking when I can.
