Eleanor Broadway

Architect

I joined EPCC in October 2020 after graduating from the University of York with an MPhys in Theoretical Physics. Since I started at EPCC, I have worked in the team supporting the users of ARCHER2 and Cirrus, providing technical user support, training and service improvements. During past projects, I have provided consultancy centred around optimising AI frameworks, porting applications to GPU and energy efficiency.

Currently, I am a co-Investigator for the Computational Abilities Knowledge Exchange (CAKE) Network+ project. This is a central hub that brings projects together to connect, collaborate and exchange knowledge, helping us make the most of the UK's large-scale computing community.

Beyond my technical role, I serve on the Women in HPC (WHPC) Executive Board as both Treasurer and Director of Chapters and Affiliates role. I also regularly volunteer on international WHPC conference committees to promote the inclusion, visibility and development of women in HPC internationally.
