I joined EPCC in December 2013 as Project Officer of the Software Sustainability Institute, where I support Community and Training activities, as well as some of the Directorate’s tasks.

My main duties are to administer our Fellowship Programme, to look after the logistical and practical organisation of our events, and to coordinate Software Carpentry workshops across the UK.
Prior to joining EPCC, I worked in local government in Sardinia (Italy) where I was responsible for communications and local development programmes; from there I have brought to EPCC my experience in the administration of European research projects (FP7, Horizon 2020).
My background is in Classics; I graduated in Sassari (Sardinia) with a thesis on an ancient Greek orator. Afterwards, I studied Communications and European Politics.
Outside of work I enjoy a number of rather lazy activities, including cooking, eating, reading, listening to music, and travelling.
