Ms Lucy Norris

Applications Consultant

I joined EPCC in November 2020 to work in the National Safe Haven linking Covid research (ISARIC-4C) and NHS (Scottish and English) data and establishing processes to provide relevant, approved data to researchers.  I have continued to work on other programmes within EPCC Safe Haven Services (including ADR-S and Data Loch) in roles varying from data curation to service management.

Beyond the Safe Haven, I recently developed an app for a depression screening tool for oral use in South Africa and am currently project managing CHARTED, a UKRI funded programme to create a hub for training, skills and roles for RTPs (Research Technical Professionals), also administering a large funding package for contributors.

I previously worked as a Clinical Trial Manager at Edinburgh University, Data Manager at a GP practice and Computer Programmer in the financial sector, after gaining an MSc in Computation from UMIST.
